With the new year in full swing, it can be hard trying to keep the one resolution that seems to be on the top of everyone's list to live a healthy life style. And what can be healthier than video games!!!

The Nintendo Wii Fit is an awesome tool to help keep the resolution. The game that quickly turns into a workout will have you toning and tightening in no time. This game provides you with your very own personal trainer that will take you through yoga, strength training, and aerobic exercises while fine-tuning advice to help you improve. There are also balancing games that can be fun and take your mind off the fact that you are working out, whether it be hula hooping or tight rope walking.

The downfall of the game is its inaccurate calculation of BMI (Body Mass Index) and that it doesn't account for the different body types, so the proportion of your Mii character may be off. The game does accurately measure weight and allows you to set a goal for how much you would like to lose or gain.

Also, the game is set in traditional gaming style where the more you play, the more activities you can unlock. Having this game is no excuse for breaking your resolution because you didn't want to go to the gym; the gym has just come to you.

All in all, the Wii Fit is a fun way to get off the couch while still playing video games.
