Club basketball hoops it up and gives back

In the two years of its existence, Men's club basketball has managed to accomplish a bit more than you would expect. By this year, its second season, it gained the support and sponsorship of the university. In the team's inaugural year it had a few notable victories over big schools such as Duke and UNC.

Women's basketball contending in Big South

The High Point University Women's Basketball team is still in contention for the Big South Conference regular season title with a 6-2 record despite its loss last weekend to Liberty. At halftime, High Point led, 41-34. As the defending Big South Conference champions, Liberty was able to take control of the game in the second half.

Indoor track weathers the wintry outdoors

Track and field is a unique college sport. Track does not have the typical layout of two teams playing one game for a fixed period of time. When it comes to track, there are not games but meets, and there are not players, but athletes. In fact, in Europe, track and field is just referred to as athletics.
